ECOCERT-Certification – FLAVEX-products are ECOCERT-conform

FLAVEX offers, in addition to numerous conventional products, a wide range of organic certified extracts. Recently also an ECOCERT conformity certificate is available for some conventional extracts.

ECOCERT is an internationally operating independent control association with headquarter in France. Apart from foodstuffs Ecocert approves also cosmetics and parfums. For this purpose ECOCERT has developed two labels with its own criteria for natural and organic cosmetics. Both labels meet the criteria of the harmonized European natural cosmetics standard COSMOS.

Due to gentle extraction process and 100% natural composition the highly concentrated CO2-extracts meet all ECOCERT requirements and thus they are ideal raw materials for cosmetics formulations. Besides the organic certified extracts, which need neither a declaration of conformity nor a questionnaire for validation, the conventional extracts can also be used with appropriate doses in natural and organic cosmetics.

For customer support some conventional extracts are already registered and certified by ECOCERT. For all other conventional extracts an ECOCERT questionnaire can be completed. After review and approval of this questionnaire the ECOCERT conformity can be granted.
