Allium sativum - garlic cloves

Production:
Fine grated fresh garlic is mixed with kieselguhr as inert carrier material and then extracted with supercritical natural carbon dioxide, therefore no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms [1]. The extract is standardized with olive oil on a constant drug/extract-ratio of 50/1.

Extract:
yellow - light brown, turbid liquid with typical garlic odour.

Ingredients:
The extract contains 3 - 8 % essential oil with diallyl disulfide, diallyl trisulfide, methyl allyl disulfide, vinyldithiine, ajoene, allicin and other sulphur-containing compounds.

Application:
In food industry as spice, in natural remedies for improving blood circulation and because of its anti-inflammatory efficacy and its ability to reduce high levels of cholesterol.

Naturalness:
The product is manufactured from the named raw material. It contains no additives and no other technical adjuncts, it is not blended and not formulated. The product is 100 % natural and corresponds to the EC Flavouring Regulation No. 1334/2008 for flavouring preparations.

Stability:
Closed pack under cool and dry storage conditions and exclusion of light at least 2 years.
