Ingredients:
40 - 50 % essential oil containing the phenols carvacrol (28 - 38 % absolut in extract) and small amounts of thymol with known antiseptic properties and other compounds, e.g. thymoquinone, cymene and caryophyllene.

Application:
The extract has antiproliferative, immune stimulating, antioxidative and antimicrobial properties, it is effective as antioxidative and antimicrobial agent; it is analgetic and antiinflammatory by COX-1 and COX-2 inhibition.
The product is used in natural remedies and dietary supplements, in cosmetic products and as a natural food flavour.
