By supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms [1]. This CO2-extract is standardized with sunflower oil (organic) to a constant content of sesquiterpene lactones.

Application:
Arnica flower preparations are used in traditional medicine for external application in cases of injury and accidental consequences, such as haematomas, bruises and sprains. Arnica is also used to treat rheumatic muscle and joint complaints and inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat. The flowers are also effective against inflammations caused by insect bites [2].*
Arnica extract can be used as a fragrance in perfumes or other cosmetic products. The extract is also used as a skin care agent in many different cosmetics [3]. Only suitable for external use.*
