Fenugreek seeds are a common ingredient in Indian spice mixtures, especially curry mixtures. Furthermore, fenugreek seed extract can be used for flavouring seasoning sauces such as soya or fish sauces. Fenugreek seeds can also be used to produce various mustard specialities [2].*

The FLAVEX fenugreek seed extract is rich of the essential fatty acids linoleic acid and alpha linolenic acid. A daily intake of linoleic acid and alpha linolenic acid reduces the LDL-cholesterol concentrations and helps to maintain a healthy blood cholesterol level [3, 4]. Therefore, the use of FLAVEX fenugreek seed extract is suitable in food supplements for healthy blood cholesterol level. Furthermore, the extract is useful in food supplements for children, as essential fatty acids like linoleic acid and alpha linolenic acid are important for proper growth and development of children [5].*

Fenugreek seed extract can be used as a fragrance in perfumes or other cosmetic products, as well as in skin care products to improve skin elasticity and moisture [6,7].*
