Rosmarinus officinalis – Leaves, dried
The formulation contains mainly rosemary antioxidant extract (organic), produced by supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide and a small amount of ethanol as entrainer, therefore no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms . The extract is standardized with sunflower oil (organic). In addition, the formulation contains GMO free sunflower lecithin and a small amount of a natural mixture of GMO free tocopherols.
12 – 14 % total antioxidative phenolic diterpenes (calc. as carnosic acid) with carnosic acid as main component, residual content of ethanol < 2 % Application:
As antioxidant in the food industry for the stabilization of fats and oils, fine bakery products, meat products, fish products, soups, sauces, seasonings. When using, observe the conditions of use according to Regulation (EC) No. 1333/2008 on food additives.*
As an antioxidant in dietary supplements or to stabilize beta-carotene and lycopene preparations for dietary supplements.*
In cosmetic products as an antioxidant.*
