By supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide with addition of a small amount of ethanol as entrainer, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms [1]. The CO2-extract is standardised with sunflower oil (organic).

Application:
Stabilization of fatty oils, carotenoids, essential oils against oxidation, antiaging, antiinflammatory component in cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations [4]. Ursolic acid inhibits indirectly metalloproteinases, which induces the decompositon of collagen in skin and has also anticancer properties [5].*
