Thanks to high investments in new technology (high-temperature heat pump with solar thermal field and expansion of the photovoltaic system), we were able to reduce our carbon footprint by more than 90% compared to 2022, to just 10 g CO<sub>2<\/sub> equivalent per kilogram of raw material processed.<\/p><p>You can find the corresponding certificate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavex.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/CorpCarbonFootprint-Scope1u2-FLAVEX-2024.pdf\">here.<\/a><\/p><p>Earlier this year, the VEA reported on our successful energy management during the summer months: <a href=\"https:\/\/klimafreundlicher-mittelstand.de\/flavex-fast-energieautark\/\">https:\/\/klimafreundlicher-mittelstand.de\/flavex-fast-energieautark\/<\/a><\/p><p>The VEA &#8211; &#8220;Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer e. V.&#8221; launched the Climate-Friendly SME Initiative in November 2020. The association has been supporting small and medium-sized companies companies for almost 75 years as an expert energy consultant with specialist knowledge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-75d78224\" data-id=\"75d78224\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div
