Fabrication:
By supercritical fluid extraction of fine grated fresh garlic with natural carbon dioxide. Therefore no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, no heavy metals, no reproducible microorganisms [1]. The extract is standardized with olive oil (organic) on a constant drug/extract-ratio of 50/1.

Utilisation:
Garlic has an antibacterial, antimycotic and lipid-lowering effect. In traditional herbal medicine, garlic is therefore used in herbal medicines to prevent age-related vasodilatation. Garlic is also widely used in folk medicine, e.g. for arteriosclerosis, high blood pressure, colds, coughs, bronchitis and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract [2].*
Due to its typical aroma, the extract is suitable for flavouring or seasoning all kinds of food.*
The garlic extract contains secondary plant substances such as sulfides and allicin. Many secondary plant substances are attributed health-promoting properties. The extract is therefore also suitable for use in food supplements.*
