NATRUE approval of our CO2 extracts
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the NATRUE approval for the majority of our CO2 extracts. Many of our conventional CO2 extracts are approved by NATRUE as natural raw materials by EcoControl GmbH. Certified raw materials according to a standard of the IFOAM family of standards or without further processing are automatically accepted. For this reason, the EU organic certified Flavex CO2 extracts are automatically accepted by NATRUE.
What is the NATRUE label?
The NATRUE label represents a reliable, verifiable and internationally applicable benchmark for authentic natural and organic beauty products from committed brands and manufacturers all around the world. There are currently over 7,000 NATRUE certified finished cosmetic products available in the market worldwide. Cosmetic products and raw materials carrying the NATRUE Label are listed in NATRUE’s public online database, a convenient platform for reference for consumers and producers.
NATRUE certified products are made from 100% natural and nature-identical substances. No substances derived from GMOs, silicones, parabens, microplastics, synthetic fragrances or mineral oils are allowed in the formulation of products bearing the NATRUE label.
Cosmetic products can be certified as natural or organic cosmetics with the NATRUE label. To be awarded the organic cosmetics level, at least 95% of the natural or near-natural substances must come from certified organic cultivation.
