FLAVEX at in-cosmetics global 2019 in Paris
From 2 to 4 April 2019, we presented our CO2 extracts at in-cosmetics global in Paris. With more than 800 international exhibitors and more than 10,000 visitors, this exhibition is one of the world’s most important trade fairs in the cosmetics industry.
Over a period of three highly frequented exhibition days, we were able to convince numerous visitors of the benefits of our vegan CO2 extracts and made many new contacts. Of particular interest to many visitors was that our CO2 extracts can be used in natural and organic cosmetics products.
Flavex offers CO2 extracts for various cosmetic applications and
with different effects:
- Active ingredients such as Chamomile, Amaranth and Curcuma Longa,
- Fragrances like Ginger and Coconut as well as
- Colours such as Paprika and Carrot.
In addition to samples of our extracts, numerous examples of the corresponding raw materials that we use for our production were exhibited in our showcase.
The certified organic amaranth seed extract is an herbal and reliable alternative to squalene enriched from olive oil.
Squalene has a healing and soothing effect on the skin, moisturizes, protects against UV damage and is thus an ideal anti-aging component.
Our amaranth seed extract with at least 5% squalene is well absorbed by the skin and thus creates a pleasant skin feeling. We would be pleased to provide interested companies with a sample.
The colourless, certified organic extract of Curcuma Longa can easily be incorporated into skin care products. The active compounds in the extract are turmerones with a high content of about 50% (abs.).
Turmerones are known to decrease skin aging. A recent scientific study provides evidence for the successful treatment of psoriatic dermatitis. An antimycotic effect has already been demonstrated.
