New report highlights our energy management
The „VEA Initiative Klimafreundlicher Mittelstand“ (= „Initiative for climate-friendly small and medium-sized companies“) has calculated our carbon footprint for the year 2024. Thanks to high investments in new technology (high-temperature heat pump with solar thermal field and expansion of the photovoltaic system), we were able to reduce our carbon footprint by more than 90% compared to 2022, to just 10 g CO2 equivalent per kilogram of raw material processed.

The VEA – “Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer e. V.” launched the Climate-Friendly SME Initiative in November 2020. The association has been supporting small and medium-sized companies companies for almost 75 years as an expert energy consultant with specialist knowledge.
