Application:
Echinacea purpurea root extract is traditionally used in herbal medicines for the treatment and prevention of colds and upper respiratory tract infections. The extract can also be used in products against mild acne [2,3].*
Due to its anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing effect, the extract is suitable for use in medical skin care products to improve itchy and dry skin and to support the treatment of atopic eczema [4].*
