The lavender flower extract is very widely applicable in the food industry. It can be used for flavouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ice creams , confectionery, chewing gum and bakery products. It also adds a special nuance to spice mixtures and sauces. Especially in the beverage industry, beverages with flower flavours like lavender are trendy and very popular.*
Lavender oil is also suitable for use in dietary supplements, especially for sleep and relaxation.*
Due to its aromatic characteristic flavour, essential lavender oil is used as a fragrance in the perfume industry. Its antimicrobial and relaxing properties also make it suitable for use in soaps, shower gels, bath additives, hair or foot care products [6].*
